These Terms & Conditions form a legally binding agreement between you and Bella Rose Books.These Terms & Conditions govern the use of this website and the purchase of products from Bella Rose Books. By placing an order, you agree to the terms outlined below.
1. About Bella Rose Books
Bella Rose Books offers hand-finished, signed, and optional personalised special edition paperbacks. Each book is individually prepared, making every copy unique.

2. Product Description & Handmade Nature
Our special editions are individually hand-foiled and signed. Due to the handcrafted process:
- Minor variations in foil placement, finish, or appearance may occur.
- These variations are part of the artistic process and are not considered faults.
Product images are representative examples and may differ slightly from the final handmade item.
3. Personalised Orders
All books include a standard author signature message. Customers may add a personalised dedication for an additional fee.
By submitting a personalised message, you agree that:
- Text will be written exactly as entered at checkout.
- Bella Rose Books is not responsible for spelling errors or wording supplied by the customer.
- Personalised items are created specifically for you and cannot be resold.
Under UK consumer regulations, personalised or custom-made goods are exempt from cancellation rights unless faulty.
4. Pricing & Payments
All prices are displayed in GBP (£). Payments are securely processed through authorised payment providers. Bella Rose Books does not store full card details.
5. Delivery & Dispatch
All UK orders include complimentary tracked and signed-for delivery.
- Dispatch times may vary due to the handmade preparation process.
- Delivery timelines depend on the courier service once dispatched.
Bella Rose Books is not liable for delays caused by courier services or circumstances outside our control.
6. Returns, Refunds & Consumer Rights
Personalised & Handmade Items
Due to the bespoke nature of personalised books:
- Personalised items are non-returnable and non-refundable unless damaged, faulty, or incorrect.
- This complies with The Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 regarding customised goods.
Faulty or Damaged Items
If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, contact hello@bellarosebooks.com within 7 days of delivery. Photographic evidence may be required.
Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected.
7. Order Changes & Cancellations
Orders begin processing shortly after purchase due to the handmade preparation process. Changes or cancellations may not be possible once production has started.
8. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes
By placing an order, you agree to contact Bella Rose Books directly to resolve any issues before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute.
Where a chargeback is raised for an order fulfilled in accordance with these Terms, Bella Rose Books reserves the right to provide proof of dispatch, delivery confirmation, and order details to the payment provider.
9. Customer Responsibilities
Customers must provide accurate delivery details, personalisation text, and contact information. Bella Rose Books is not responsible for delays or issues caused by incorrect information supplied at checkout.
10. Intellectual Property
All artwork, branding, book designs, and written content remain the intellectual property of Bella Rose Books and may not be reproduced without permission.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by UK law, Bella Rose Books shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from the use of this website or products purchased.
Nothing in these terms excludes your statutory consumer rights.
12. Privacy & Communications
Customer information is used solely to process orders and communicate essential updates.
13. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
14. Right to Refuse Orders
Bella Rose Books reserves the right to cancel or refuse any order where fraudulent activity, abuse of policies, or misuse of personalised services is suspected.
15. Product Expectations & Description
By purchasing a handmade or customised item, you acknowledge that slight artistic variations, individual finishing details, and natural differences are part of the product’s intended design. Variations in colour tone, foil placement, or finish do not constitute defects where the item matches the general product description and imagery.
16. Authorised Retail & Promotional Distribution
Bella Rose Books special edition titles are primarily sold directly through the official Bella Rose Books website. From time to time, a limited number of copies may be supplied to carefully selected collaborators, promotional partners, or authorised retailers as part of marketing campaigns, special promotions, or reader events.
Such collaborations do not affect the exclusive nature of Bella Rose Books editions. Unless expressly stated otherwise, Bella Rose Books remains the primary and official source for purchasing these special editions.
